Paul Estabrook has been creating work and teaching dancers throughout the world for the past 25 years, applying his extensive knowledge of the moving body equally in the areas of contemporary and classical dance. Mr. Estabrook began his dance training in 1979 with the Hartford Ballet, where he studied the Vaganova syllabus and contemporary dance and received a degree in dance education. In 1981, he relocated to New York, where he studied classical dance and kinesiology with David Howard. He joined the staff of The David Howard Dance Center in 1985, where he taught for the next ten years while developing his choreographic career. Mr. Estabrook was a dancer with Nina Weiner and Dancers and worked with many free-lance projects throughout the United States and Europe.
