My dance career started at Scapino Ballet and then brought me to France where I worked as first soloist at the renown modern dance company L\\\'Opera de Lyon directed by Yougos Loukos collaborating with acclaimed choreographers such as William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek and Ohad Naharin. Just when I decided to focus primarily on one choreographer, Angelin Preljocaj, I met Russell Maliphant for whom I left Ballet Preljocaj to follow him to London. Through the inspiring work with Russell I came into contact with a variety of movement styles and techniques such as improvisation, contact improvisation, capoeira, acrobatics and body-mind techniques like yoga, thai chi, rolfing and meditation. Russell\\\'s work changed my view on dance and movement entirely and led me to discover a passion for teaching improvisation, with the ambition to prove that it can be an extremely powerful manner of performance. Currently I am a freelance movement coach for choreographers and theatre directors, a dancer, a rolfer and a teacher. I have given workshops in many countries and created performances based on improvisation even in Russia and in China.
