Glòria Ros (Spain, 1986) studied at the Professional Dance Conservatory in Barcelona (Institut del Teatre). Since then, she has been working internationally in collaboration with other artists. As a dancer, she was engaged for three seasons with the Introdans Ensemble voor de Jeugd, with whom she toured in Holland, South-Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Estonia, France, Germany, with pieces from Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Inbal Pinto, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui,… among others. As a freelance artists, she has worked with choreographers David Middendorp, Jesus de Vega, Arthur Rosenfeld, Arno Schuitemaker and visual artist Brendan Fernandes. With this works, she has performed in Holland, Cyprus and Malta. She was nominated best dancer of the year in Holland in 2013. As a choreographer and dancer, together with videographer Moises Moricoli, she was awarded the First Prize at the Experimental Dance Film Festival – ShortCuts (AU), for their videodance “0RB1T”. In collaboration with Daniela Cruz, she choreographed and performed ”Tip ping Point”, which was selected for Cortoindanza, T.Off Festival in Sardinia. Her last collaboration with choreographer Emilie Birraux resulted in a solo that has been performed in Lyon and Amsterdam. They have recently been invited to perform this piece at CCN Grenoble and the Festival Slow Words Amsterdam. She is currently preparing for an artistic residency in Barcelona with Deniza Dikova, to deepen on their work on improvisation. Besides that, she is a certified Thai Massage Therapist.
