Johanna Jacoba Nielandt started her training at De Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp, at which time she also had an extensive music education. In June 2011, she graduated from Codarts and danced as apprentice at Cullberg Ballet. Johanna had the opportunity to be working with Alexander Ekman for his piece "Ekman's Triptych, a study of entertainment". Johanna has danced in pieces by Ann van den Broek, Benedikt MacIsaac, Itzik Galili, Jack Gallagher, Loïc Perez and David Middendorp, among others. Johanna is currently working as a freelance dancer and teacher.
